We provide supportive living services in several different homes, apartments, and other living spaces. Our primary goal is to empower individuals to live as independently as possible within their community while receiving the high-quality, personalized care they require.
What is Supported Living Level 3?
Under the NC Innovations Waiver through DHHS, Supported Living Level 3 is a specialized residential service designed for individuals who require a significant level of support to live in their own home.
Definition & Scope:
- 24-Hour Support: This service level is intended for individuals who require continuous supervision or assistance (24 hours a day) to ensure their health, safety, and well-being.
- Independent Living: Unlike traditional group homes, this service focuses on the individual living in a home they own, rent, or lease, promoting true community integration.
- Skill Development: SL3 provides “Habilitation” services, which include teaching and supporting the individual in:
- Self-care and personal hygiene.
- Household management and meal preparation.
- Financial management and budgeting.
- Social networking and community participation.
