In 2014, this licensed group home was the first home added to the Bottom Up Outreach Center organization; hence, the name BUOC Home. BUOC Home is now 1 of 5 homes currently providing mental and behavioral health services to individuals with mental health and developmental challenges.

BUOC Home houses many of our most highly behaviorally aggressive residents. This is the home where the crisis unit is typically deployed due to frequent and major physically aggressive behaviors, self-injurious behaviors, verbal aggression, elopement, and other serious behaviors. 

The individuals working in the home are highly-trained professionals and able to deal with many of the impulsive and violent behaviors that can take place at any time. This home is where we transition many of the toughest individuals – individuals typically overlooked or declined by other agencies due to long violent criminal records, time served in jail, and/or returning from lock-down institutions.

Our proven systems, philosophies, culture, and team have enabled us to be able to provide a high level of quality, compassionate, disciplined, consistent, and fair care to each individual whom we provide services to – meeting them wherever they are in life.

This home also has a beautiful gym area utilized by our individuals and staff to direct energy in a therapeutic and healthy manner.

In addition to residential care, BUOC Home is part of a larger network of services offered through Bottom Up Outreach Center. These include Residential Services across our other licensed homes—Intermediate Care Facilities (ICF), Alternative Family Living (AFL), Supervised Living Homes (Group Homes), and Supported Living Services—each designed to provide safe, structured, and respectful environments. We also operate Nita’s Touch, our day program that offers a warm, inclusive space for building life skills, daily routines, and community connections. Our Clinical and Support Services provide behavioral support, case management, life skills training, and community networking to help individuals grow and succeed. For those seeking more flexible arrangements, we offer Private Pay Residential Management, delivering personalized care from trained staff, tailored to individual needs.
